Dr Tharshini Ramalingam graduated from University College London Medical School in 2001. She went on to train extensively in medicine and became a Member of the prestigious Royal College of Physicians in 2007 and subsequently a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners thereafter. Her interests include patients presenting with complex medical diseases, care of the older adult – particularly those with dementia, and also a paediatric interest in speech, development and behavioural problems in children in the 0 -5 age group. Dr Ramalingam is able to administer joint injections.

The Practice Nurses are employed by the doctors and run travel, asthma, well person and smear clinics as well as a diet & weight advice clinics, new patient checks and NDS Health Checks — all by appointment. Facilities are available for wound dressing, removal of stitches, ear syringing, blood and urine tests, cardiograms, spirometry and advice on continence problems.
The District Nurses are employed by First Community Health & Care and work with the doctors in the community by providing all nursing needs in the home.
There are Health Visitors attached to the practice. In addition to being able to advise you on health issues in general, they also organise antenatal and postnatal classes, parentcraft, and developmental checks on toddlers and pre-school children.
